RED BERRY & BLACKCURRANT. SAVE 20%
For over 20 years, Crossroads has represented the very best of small parcel winemaking. Producer of New Zealand's Best Red Wine at the International Wine Challenge in London in 2014, Pinot Noir grapes for this wine were sourced from selected vineyard sites in the Wairau & Awatere Valleys of Marlborough.
The resulting wine over delivers on quality for it's modest price tag. Aged in old French oak barrels for 9 months, the Pinot Noir shows lifted red berry fruit and blackcurrant flavours, with notes of spice and gamey characters. The palate is supple with fine tannins and a subtle toasty finish. Enjoy on its own, or match with duck, lamb, venison and veal dishes.
A terrific buy under $20, and a great red for barbeques over the summer months.
