Kahurangi Estate is a family owned boutique vineyard in Upper Moutere, Nelson, dedicated to producing hand-made, premium quality wines in a truly sustainable manner. Their focus is on aromatic grape varieties that respond exceptionally well to Nelson's sunny, but cool winter climate.

Owned by the Day family since 1973, Kahurangi's wines reflect the true flavours and beauty of the Nelson region. This 2023 Sauvignon Blanc just released is a little beauty!

Sourced from a selection of Nelson vineyard sites, 2023 was a stunning growing season. A dry Spring, followed by a hot, dry Summer with a little bit of rain pre harvest resulted with super ripe grapes, with concentrated, intense flavours and clean, crisp acidity.

The nose is filled with tropical aromas of pineapple and passionfruit with subtle flinty notes. The palate is a beautiful blend of fleshy white peach and rock melon. The finish is long and luscious.

Best served chilled with seafood, salads and light summer meals. 13% abv.
