McPherson is a family owned, independent winery based in Central Victoria, Australia.

For almost 40 years the McPherson family have been committed to producing high quality wines at affordable prices.

A jack of all trades, Jock McPherson had a wild and varied career as a writer, soldier, fisherman, publisher and PR man. His passion however, was winemaking. He planted his first vineyard in 1968, eventually passing it on to his only son Andrew who works in the company to this day. This wine is dedicated to Jock.

Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the wine has a fragrant Mint & black currant bouquet, and displays a rich, full bodied, fleshy, fruit laden palate with rich, ripe berry fruit flavours & subtle toasty oak. At its best from now - 2025.

Try this wine with a hearty barbequed steak, or a rich, spicy tomato based pasta dish such as Spaghetti Bolognaise or Lasagne. 14.5% abv.
