Thornbridge Market Porter 330ml

Located in Bakewell near Sheffield, the Thornbridge story began back in 2005 when the founders Jim Harrison and Simon Webster recruited two young brewers to brew on a second hand 10-barrel kit in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall.

Thornbridge created Market Porter on cask originally and launched it at the opening of of their York pub, "The Market Cat". They quickly received lots of great feedback, especially as they found drinkers were really keen for a classic porter without any additions. The decision was made to bottle it and it’s now joined the core range.

This is best imbibed a little above fridge temperature (take it out about 15 minutes before enjoying) as it really starts to open up allowing notes of liquorice and coffee to come through. 4.5% ABV.

HOPS: Willamette, Mount Hood, Styrian Golding

MALTS: Pale, Munich, Brown, Crystal, Wheat, Black
